Charming with loads of character

Lovely property. Neighborhood is quiet and home provides a lovely porch to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. I would stay here again if the opportunity arises

Peace and quiet in the woods

So close to town yet far enough to feel in the wild. The cottage is as cozy as can be and our family loved it. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Well maintained property, well appointed. Gracious space from people-y places. We already miss the patio and surrounding native plants and birds! Close enough to Exit Glacier and Seward for whatever day trip you might plan and still kick your feet up at night!

quiet, clean property

This VRBO is close to Seward and in a very quiet location in the woods! The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. There was a problem with the door lock, but the owner was very responsive and fixed the issue in a very prompt manner. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful home

We loved our 4-night stay in this beautiful home!! It's spotlessly clean, kitchen is fully equipped and we found the beds were super comfortable. Just a short drive into town for such a peaceful retreat in the woods!! Loved watching the hummingbirds - we didn't want to leave and would return if ever in Seward area again!

Wonderful cabin

This edca really nice cabin with a very nice property. It is obviously owned and maintained by a loving owner. A lot of very cool nick nacks . Very quiet and cozy.

We really enjoyed the house and the location. Everything was excellent. Beds were comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Location was close to Seward. We are two couples who travel together every year and always rent a house. This was one of our favorites!

This is a great place. Cozy, comfortable, clean. Kylee was so communicative and responsive. They have a wonderful place and made it very easy for us despite our late arrival. We wish we had more time to enjoy. Thank you.

Quaint

We wanted a place that gave a different experience rather than a hotel or basic home and this place fit the bill. Unique to the area with a cabin feel nestled in the the Alaskan trees in the country, it did not disappoint. Clean, modern but country. One we would recommend. Thanks

Great stay in a great house

My whole family loved staying in this home. The location in the woods is great (as long as you have a car) - beautiful views of forest and forest floor out the window, and you cross a beautiful river on the way into the neighborhood. The great room of the house has a beautiful high wood ceiling. The house is tastefully and personally decorated with tons of art and interesting objects (bones, feathers, driftwood) from the homeowner’s travels. Everything we needed was provided: coffee maker, pots and pans, dishwasher, laundry, throw blankets, soap, etc. We were very comfortable there!

Loved This Beautiful, Cozy Cottage in the Woods!

This place was everything the website described! We stayed here a group of 4 (two adult couples), and this was perfect! We were secluded in the woods, very private! Yet it was a short and easy drive into Seward! We enjoyed a beautiful evening sitting out on the front porch sipping wine and watching for wildlife, which we never did see during our stay. Everything we needed was supplied in the kitchen and bathrooms. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and we would stay again if we ever ventured back to Alaska! Communication with the host was excellent starting when we booked our stay, with ideas of things to do and recommendations for excursions from Seward.

Amazing Cottage in the Woods

We rented this property for our stay on Kenai. It was perfectly located for Seward and the Exit Glacier. A little far to drive to Homer but what a scenic drive it was. House was super clean and very comfortable. I had to do some work while there and it has a great desk area. We used the house to cook meals and it was comfortable for that. Nice outside grill. Showers were strong and water was warm. Beds were very comfortable. Did not see a bear but heard him one morning. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem in the woods

As we pulled into Kaylee's place all I felt was comfort and welcoming vibes. The cottage was amazing. Lots of windows and a deck for comfy coffee in the morning. The porch rockers were our go to in the evening. We were hoping to see some animals around the cabin but didn't get to see anything UNTIL.... 20 minutes before we were set to leave, a moose rambled in and laid down in the timber right outside the deck door about 50' out. We took lots of pictures and were thrilled. Loved it. Thanks Kaylee!
