“The motel is located in a tranquil area, conveniently near the city centre. The room is clean and spacious. “Do to an oncoming storm and us having to change our plans because we were reliant on the Cook Strait ferry, we asked to be refunded for our second night, on the first night of our stay. We were told no and that the management wouldn’t approve this. We’re very disappointed. I think that this was very unfair and inconsiderate. They had every intention of reselling our room. We would have loved to stay for Valentine’s and the local food festival however that was taken from us.”
