Across the street was the beach which is rocky so wear water shoes if your feet are sensitive. Had a fun time sitting in the porch area and people watching. ”

My only complaint is the owner showing up unannounced three times to work on the outside of the property (clean hot tub, water plants, etc.) over our 9-day stay. Otherwise communication with the host was great - she even went out of her way to accommodate a request.”

I can say this with full authority since I lived in BPT until my early twenties.We rented this house for a funeral gathering that included eight overnight guests. The host was responsive from my first inquiry and since I was around the corner anyway, he stopped to let me and my elderly dad see it. You can definitely categorize it as a McMansion. Downstairs is spacious with a nice kitchen and table. Pro tip: the kitchen……

“Was the perfect spot for a small group in town for a wedding! One bathroom but made it work with 6 of us just fine. Great location with lots of good spots in walking distance. ”

“Great place, perfect if youre going to the amphitheater and may have a couple drinks, because the walk there and back is not bad at all. Only thing was we were wondering what the earplugs were for, and being so close to the ocean, the seagulls were obviously what they were for. All jokes aside, I highly recommend. “Wonderful place! Everything was clean and well kept! The Hartford Arena is 5 minutes away...ferry is 2 minures away..”

“The cottage was very clean and organized when we arrived. The host had all necessary provisions on site. She even made a special trip to get fresh beans for our morning coffee. This was a last minute trip for us and we weren't very excited about the Milford area, but we were pleasantly surprised by the location of the cottage- near a very good ice cream shop and a great restaurant for a lobster roll. We are definitely thinking of coming back next year for a full week and also bringing extended……
