“The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.”

“Property is gorgeous. Lake is beautiful. Lots of restaurants nearby and close to the Lighthouse (Wedding venue). Parking is a bit limited and there are quite a few stairs to the entrance, but could not be more happy with the experience. ”

The place was amazing from a welcome email from Eric and Marisa with perfect instructions and brief videos to restaurant suggestions. The house was so cute and comfortable. Everything was labeled and if you forgot something, they had it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great place for a family vacation or just some friends needing some catching up. “My first VRBO rental and it turned out wonderfully. House was clean, perfect size, perfect location for my visit. The owner thought of many small touches that I never dreamed would be in the house, such as blow dryer, laundry products, even hairspray. It was nicely decorated for the season as well. Will rent again the next time I visit. ”

“My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait……

Due to the age of the original home that houses four (4) residential units, it is a little loud in its mechanics, structure, and location. The people were friendly and helpful. It is closely located to the Crown Point Square which offers multiple shopping and gastro-pub options within the Historic Downtown area. The property manager was pleasant enough and prompt in his communications.”
