A few friends and I rented the cabin for 3 nights and had such an incredible time. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is adequate, and it works perfectly for a getaway or place to lay your head as you explore the nearby areas.
Sweet cabin. Fenced back yard was great for our dog. Very well equipped, and a lovely view.

Nice Cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin, it is very well done and comfortable. I would stay again, only thing I would mention if you are pulling a trailer the driveway is a little tight but not a big deal. I fully plan on staying here again next season.
This property was exactly what we were looking for. Tons of hiking in the day, and quiet nights. It was clean, perfect amount of space for three guys with hiking packs to not be on top of each other. Absolutely would stay here again.
Quiet, nice place to get out and walk, too. Beautiful view. Close to Shell and Shell Canyon for getting up into the mountains. Kitchen was well-equipped, even with little things like spices and sugar. We enjoy quiet places that are tucked away, and this suited us perfectly!
My wife and I (and our dog) really enjoyed our stay. Note that this host does not really use VRBO for messages, so keep an eye out for emails from them with all of the info you need for your stay, including how to check in and the lock box code. We missed that email so we could not get inside until we called the host and they directed us to the email with that info.

Great Stay!!!!
We loved this cabin. Road trip to Wyoming for an ice climbing trip. Brought our puppy and the place was perfect. The fenced backyard helped so much! The cabin stayed at a perfect temperature, the kitchen was full of all supplies...not even sure why we brought food. Lots of games to play to keep you entertained. Beds where very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. Will definitely plan on staying here again!
This was such a beautiful and fun place to stay at. Everything about this cabin and the amenities was perfect. Our kids loved the games, logs, and the pure beauty of the outdoors. So many memories made here that we will hold onto forever. The communication between the caretaker was top notch. Also everything and more was readily available for all of us. We can’t wait to come back and are so happy we found this true gem! Thanks again mora mora!!!
We had a wonderful time in the Big Horns. It was great to come home to the house for our supper meal and some reading, relaxing, & enjoying the peace & quiet. The kitchen was stocked very well, the beds were great. We had a bit of a problem finding the right road to get to the home at first but we figured it out. It might be helpful if there was a flag or something to identify the road to turn at. Just a thought but certainly nothing that was a big deal!! All in all it was a wonderful home base!!
This remote property was comfortable and worked out for our family. The cabin was stocked with great linens, dishes and laundry area. The view is amazing and sunsets were beautiful. Internet was great. It was a super hot week and we were comfortable with the provided AC units and fans. Cabin has great artwork and loved the artistic touches and birds. We were visiting family 20 minutes away. I grew up on the opposite side of the BigHorns, so we had many days enjoying this side. Yellowstone, Cody and Beartooth canyon were nearby day trips. Amazing views and loved seeing wildlife.
The dogs loved the walks in the country and in the mountains.
This cabin is very different from anything I have rented before. It is very artistic and fun. The wood from the original settlers cabin still show in spots and the add ons and upgrades to the property are smartly done and very classy. So many antique furniture pieces and great attention to details on everything from bedding to cute dishes and artistic wall painting and decorative elements throughout the house. The air conditioners provided kept it cool and the laundry facility was very nice to have. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom and shower are very nice with great water pressure. The area the cabin is situated in is a desert type climate but it has beautiful views of the mountains out the front window.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would have enjoyed staying a bit longer. We had dogs and they liked being able to walk freely in the fenced yard. We enjoyed exploring places like the dinosaur tracks, devils kitchen, and the town of Greybull.
There are also nice chairs and a swing on the front porch for enjoying evenings/sunset.
The property is managed by a third party so you don’t talk to the owner but it went smoothly with no issues.
If in the area exploring that side of the bighorn it’s a fun and unique place to stay with all the comforts you need with some nice classy vibes as well.
This is always our can’t wait to get there trip! Mora mora is the best and most breathtaking place to be! So many wonderful things about this property but by far it’s the uniqueness and pure beauty and charm we get when we stay there! Best accommodations ever!!!!!
Quiet and relaxing stay. Exactly as advertised. Would recommend if that is what you are looking for. A couple hour drive to Yellowstone but lots of outdoor activities to do around the area.
The cabin was as expected, clean, neat and tidy. The kitchen contained all the utensils you would expect. I was disappointed that the oven in the stove was not functional but there was an alternative so I was still able to roast my chicken.
I am fortunate or unfortunate however you want look at to rent 8 to 9 homes a year for work and travel. This particular rental was a true gem. Owning a farm myself, I really enjoy the Agricultural feel of the area and Shell valley is a wonderful mosaic of color and natural landscapes. I noticed one review mentioning the remoteness which would be in the eye of the beholder. There were many farm houses and homes in the area. It’s not an urban hub but that’s why it is such a lovely cabin. Thanks again to the wonderful hosts.
