"The APA Namba was in an excellent location. So many things within walking distance and easy to hop on trains via Namba station access close by. The rooms were very small but very clean. Appreciated all the information about facilities and surrounding area that was available in your room via TV and apps.
Our biggest complaint was that the coffee provided in the room was terrible and there is a lack of transparency about their pool facility. They have a rooftop pool but it's only open for July and August (we booked 5 nights there and the pool was only open the last one); whereas when booking on the website it states the pool is open August to August; which sort of implies year round. Additionally, you have to pay to use the pool and they charge an hourly rate that equals about 12 USD. A disappointment for our kids. I think that information needs to be very clear up front when booking.
The soaking pool amenities, on the other hand, were very nice and included in the cost of the stay.
I would probably still recommend it as a convenient and comfortable place to stay, just know before you go."
