"We were most satisfied with our recent stay. Everything about the "tent" cabin we booked was as expected. However, there was some angst at the start because en route I received an email "invoice" that suggested our booking was not prepaid. Because of the length of our stay and what we had booked, it was a significant amount. I raised this with the person in the office when we arrived. It was confirmed that the booking was was prepaid and that the issue was due to "the system". I mentioned that the invoice had created some angst considering the amount was more than $2000. I accepted that the reception person was new to the position and appeared to be overwhelmed. We were handed an envelope with "all the details". And that was that. I accept that in 2026 "the system" always prevails over customer service."
