“Check in went really well.The rooms were much darker than anticipated. The pictures online looked much brighter. The furniture needs a some TLC--a lot of chipped paint, torn back rest on the couch, well-loved "sitting spots" on the couches. Stains on the carpet areas.It was a clean place but for what we paid per night, I kinda expected a little higher quality details.Host interaction was very prompt, expectations well laid out. “The host did not disclose that they live on the property. The house was not ready at 4pm. When we arrived at 6pm, the host was still inside cleaning. We did not stay here because we were uncomfortable with the host living on the property and numerous other things. There was a weird door behind a mirror on the wall. There was a hole in the wall by the ceiling, unfinished light fixture, and spray paint on the wall/door. There was a cat in the house. The host had personal items in the washer……

The yard made us go around the house thru cars to the front yard to potty the dogs. Not found until snow started to melt!”
