“We are a couple on a four week tour through Germany and Italy. We wanted to visit Siena, although did not want to necessarily stay right in the centre of the ancient city.
Villa L’Avvenire suited our needs perfectly. It is a beautiful old mansion, on a good sized property just outside the main city.
Access to the city was quite easy using the bus system.
The property was beautifully landscaped, and we spent time sitting in the garden. The hotel was modernized, although it definitely has……

“The hotel is in a nice location, and the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of choices. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, which had good service and several tasty Tuscan dishes for dinner.
The main disappointment was the check-in experience. The room initially assigned to us did not match the description in our Expedia booking, and we had to ask repeatedly before being moved to a different room.
