“I booked this hotel because of the rave reviews and because we normally enjoy Holiday Inn Express hotels. Unfortunately, we didn't have a fabulous experience like other reviewers. We checked in late in the evening, only to discover that our room's thermostat (and therefore the AC) didn't work. The woman at the front desk was kind and wonderful in trying to help us. Unfortunately, because hadn't booked direct through IGH, she wasn't able to offer us any sort of compensation, but thankfully……
