「We loved the authenticity and cosy bed and fire. We felt the bathroom let it down. Nowhere to pop your toiletries. Rae was wonderful at bringing us coffee which was missing and looked after us well.」

「Excellent little spot in Mission Bay! Sali and Brendon were friendly and accommodating. The unit is clean, private, and has everything you need (fridge, oven/hob, washing machine, etc.) Plus being able to have our dog stay with us is always a bonus. 😊」

This was the perfect home for her and the extended family was able to pop in before the ceremony to say hello. Plenty of lovely deck space to spread out on without getting under each other's feet.」

「Great communication with the hosts. This little cottage is an absolute delight for a romantic weekend! It was quiet & private with more than enough provided to ensure a comfy cosy stay. Breakfast included a range of tea & coffee choices along with orange juice, muesli, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt & croissants. Located close to a number of wedding venues & dining options, plus the spectacular Waitakere Ranges with its black sand beaches. We took the relaxing 20 minute drive out to Muriwai Beach...

「Having the lock box at ground level was a pain given the hall lights were not working. Be good if it was at eye level. The property was neat and tidy. Had all we required. Would've liked internet though! Nice being upstairs for breakfast on the balcony. Great having a 4 Square right below us.」

「On day of check in we received an email asking what time we would arrive and received no reply as to the address to find the exact location for the accommodation. By deduction and luck we drove around and around until by chance we found it. Host was very good in supplying iron and ironing board on request. Had to buy laundry detergent and no dryer.」

「Our family group of 4 adults were all disappointed with how grubby this property was. We don’t mind things which are a bit shabby (carpet, paintwork, furniture, curtains) but we really like things to be clean! Don’t even expect hospital standards but not ….dead bugs, spiders, dust, cobwebs…. Hair and mould in showers, basins, bathroom mirrors splashed with someone else’s toothpaste….YUK. Kitchen equipment greasy and grimy. Also the downstairs bedroom was very damp and unaired and we had to move...

「It is not often you find a place that exceeds expectations but this is one of them. I won't spoil the suprise for you but if you want quiet - apart from birds - a view and comfort near the Tawharanui park sanctuary, this is it.」

「The design of the washroom is unsatisfactory. The shower curtain does not extend to the floor, and the washroom is very wet after shower. As the hotel does not make up room everyday, the washroom condition is quite untidy. 」
