“The home was very dated, the furnace didn't work, the dishwasher didn't work. The homeowner disclosed the furnace not working on the day we traveled 5 1/2 hours to the home. There were other heat sources (heat pump in the primary bedroom, pellet stove in the living room and heat pump in the kitchen); however, fuel odors forced my husband and I to leave the large primary bedroom and my best friend to sleep on the couch. “The apartment had plenty of space for us and had everything we needed for our short stay. Oddly, I never received the "usual" emails from Vrbo with arrival instructions, etc, I contacted the host directly for instructions. He was very helpful and responded quickly. We were pleased to find everything clean and tidy. There were a couple of minor things that need attention, which I am sure will be taken care of.
