"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. "Historic hotel near mid evil Castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very pleasant except for the toilet being in a closet separate from the bathroom. What's with the French and their separate toilet in a closet! Nice garden. Breakfast nice but eggs needed to be cooked longer. Helpful woman in the buffet. Walkable near lots of stores and restaurants in historic area."

"This small hotel is right at the base of the medieval city of Carcassonne, and had amazing views of the ramparts from our room and from a small roof terrace. Staff were really helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants. The walls between rooms were a little thin, but the location was so quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a small hotel, and the beautiful garden next to the breakfast room was truly delightful. Highly recommended!"

"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."
