"We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Shire! Mike was so welcoming and personable. The property was beautiful and spacious and the house was perfect. Our family of 6 stayed there for a long weekend. The kids loved the basketball court and huge yard to play catch in, the swing overlooking the pond, and the huge and very spacious garage where they played ping pong and bag toss! Thank you for great stay!"

"Comfortable and relaxing place to regroup during a large family gathering at a neighboring lake. The upper deck and the easy water access were our most frequently used aspects. We all slept soundly in the beds, too. Communication with Alison and the organized info binder were great."

"Had an excellent stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Hosted Thanksgiving dinner with my mother. The cabin was clean, and the instructions were clear, simple and easy to follow. The location is very relaxing and surrounded by nature. This was our second time spending Thanksgiving in the cabin and would definitely stay here again."

"Fabulous time. Many water accessories offered which made it very enjoyable for our kiddos. Bring your fishing poles!! One of my kiddos pulled out 28 fish just from the dock! Super quiet back on the channel. Kitchen fully stocked and very clean! Downsides : No washclothes for showers. Bring your own. No ladder to climb out of water onto dock. No chairs at firepit. NO DATA and very weak wifi. Other than the few downsides which are minor other than the wifi it is a fabulous house and location....
