Its location was beautiful (literally right on the Skagit River), private (quiet, cannot see neighbors), close to hiking, incredibly well stocked (even with coffee, sharp knives, corkscrew) and the beds and pillows were super comfy! 「Perfect family stay - we were here for a wedding weekend and found this to be a perfect place for our family to retreat to when we weren't involved in wedding activities. The deck is one of the nicest we've ever seen - and the views over the water are magnificent」

「This place is fantastic!!! The location right on the water is magical, and a perfect spot for catching some beautiful sunsets. The pool and hot tub were great, and make sure you’ve got an option for swimming no matter the weather. The house has everything you could need - a really well stocked kitchen, pool towels, massive dining table for a big group, lots of outdoor seating, a hammock and pool toys! John, the owner is very responsive if there are issues. That’s a ping pong table and washer dryer. It’s about 12 minutes from the ferry.」

「It was a wonderful place to stay! Our kids had a great time exploring the rocky shore and we really enjoyed the sea kayaks - what a treat! It was clean and beautiful. The only thing I would note is that the basement unit with 4th queen bed is only accessible via the outside. We will be back! Thank you!」

「Walking beach access is cool, but there are a lot of sand fleas on the beach near the house. Better to drive around the island and find other parks and beaches to walk on.」

"It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. "
