"The A-frame itself was cozy and well-stocked, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. We slept very well up in the loft, with the sound of the Skykomish lulling us to sleep. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. But the real star of this show was the jaw-dropping scenery. To be surrounded by soaring jagged peaks and high forested ridges, with the turquoise river churning by, was awe-inspiring."

"We had a great stay at the Sweet Retreat! The cabin is a nice home base for spending all day on the lake. It looks to be well loved and is in need of a few fixes but nothing that detracted from the stay for us. It had everything we needed. "My fiancée, our two pups, and I, loved our stay in this cabin. We tend to stay at a cabin with our dogs once or twice a year. There was a lot of space, beautifully decorated, a king-sized bed, and extremely clean and cozy. For those of you who like to cook, it was a lovely full kitchen, near good hiking trails, the jacuzzi was so relaxing, and there are games/movies to keep you and your family busy. Other people’s properties were very close to the cabin though, so we felt bad due to our dogs...

Because our flight back home wasn't for three more days, I fixed me a place in a recliner in front of the big picture window with a view of the river and mountains. What a restful place to be! Now that we are home, I still wish for a recliner seat with a river mountain view, good for the body, good for the soul! We think we need to return after I heal for a make-up vacation!"
