“Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, delicious food!”

“We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit.”

“Room was lovely & spacious, lots of coffee/tea choices in the room. My favourite was the deep bath tub & actual bath size towels. Food was amazing & everyone else eating said the same. Breakfast was continental served earlier, with a choice of cooked breakfast a bit later. This was a last minute decision to stay overnight in this area on our trip & what a great decision it was.”

“Copperbeach B&B was lovely. Easy on site parking. We had a party of 5, 2 adults and 3 children. Our 5 bedded room was excellent. The room was immaculate with a great ensuite. Breakfast was very nice, just a shame it was not full english.”

“A beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!……

“Positive: Clean room and comfortable bed Very good breakfasts Negative: No hot water for the whole 5 days I was there, though promised each day. Shower attachment broken so a (cold) shower was only possible by holding the shower head. The stand of one of the fans was broken The wifi in the room did not work Evening meals were not available as stated on the website - MUCH more limited menu than on their website and not available on all the evenings stated. “Nice cozy stay, nice and very clean. Would have been a 5 star but was a strong smell of what could have been beeswax or something similar on the old wood.”

“Very nice property, great base for birdwatching as Minsmere RSPB reserve and Dunwich heath close by. Good facilities and having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 3 of us was excellent. Couple of gripes, single bed mattress was too soft, and dini g table bit too big for the room, made moving around it a squeeze.”
