Fabulous Property

We booked this property to surprise a friend in the area and it is a great find. Well equipped, very clean and wonderful outdoor space with big hot tub. Our host was so flexible allowing us early access as the property was ready. Lovely to have the animals so close. Only thing you should be aware of is there is a lower ceiling on first floor so put the kids up there as you wouldn’t want to be 6ft and use that level. Would definitely recommend and rebook.

Family quality time

Great property and value for money , communication with the host was great and they helped us when our vehicle broke down. Only fault we could find was the top floor ceiling was very low and a bit of a problem for the adults. maybe a note in the initial booking form to explain this would be a good idea. Other than that PERFECT.

Stay for my mum’s 70th

This house was perfect for our family get together for my mums surprise 70th weekend away. There was 11 of us in total, 9 adults and 2 children. Tanya the owner went above and beyond to have the place set up so lovely for the occasion. She touched based with leading up to the stay and gave me recommendations for local take seats and places to eat. We spent three nights here and only left twice, once for a walk around Glastonbury and the second time to go out for lunch. The rest of the time we stayed at the house. Space was great and the hot tub a treat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a well kitted out house. Thank you again Tanya

Perfect for a family group stay

We stayed here as a large family group for a long weekend whilst attending a wedding in Sparkford. It was perfect for our needs, with a fabulous hot tub and lovely clean rooms. As the listing suggests is it small/low ceilings upstairs but as we had children in the room of singles it wasn't a problem for us, though that room wouldn't suit tall adults! The setting is up a rural country lane in a pretty farm setting with interesting animals like Emu's and chickens lining the driveway up to the house which the children enjoyed saying hello to. Although we weren't home that much as attending a weekend long wedding it was lovely to return here at the end of each day/night and chill in the hot tub and enjoy the garden space. The house and the surrounding area was pretty and peaceful and I would certainly consider returning again sometime. The owner also left a wonderful welcome hamper which was very generous.

Fantastic family trip

Wow. What a weekend. Firstly, thank you Tanya and family for a lovely stay and for being at the end of the phone for any questions we had. The house is modern and well equipped, they really have thought of everything. We had a lovely welcome pack with fresh orange juice, milk, eggs and more and even treats, bowls and toys for the dog. The rooms downstairs are spacious and cosy, dining room had plenty of seats and space and there was a tv in every room. Bathrooms were clean and modern and we were provided with plenty of clean towels. The rooms upstairs do have a low roof and you do have to be extra careful!! The hot tub was the highlight of our trip as well as the farm animals which the children loved. Overall an amazing stay in the quiet town of Somerton. Highly recommend and we will be back. 5 stars!!
