Lavender Villa,Sunrise Villas. Ayia Thekla. Cyprus. Poor representation to reality

Pitch black on arrival- no outdoor lighting, no villa name or number. Dirty pool. Advertised as 5* modern technology - total lie, substandard & malfunctioning technology. Extremely poorly equipped for self catering, lots of pans but nothing to use to cook in the oven, lack of so much basic essential items required for self catering villa. Totally lacked care & attention to cleanliness or readiness to receive guests. Expensive & substandard. Completely misrepresented visually on website. Beautiful location, beautiful quiet beaches close by, 2 lovely restaurants nearby. All this poorly let down by lack of care or forethought, has the potential to be a gem of a villa, but not looked at through eyes of a guest, only interested in earning money!!! Such a shame.

Villa Lavandel

Our 3rd time to Agia Thekla. Loved our stay at Lavander Villa. Very private villa with mature gardens and a lovely newly re-tiled Pool overlooking the sea. Villa is modern, clean and got the all important WI-FI for work and play. We would love to come back!

We loved the villa in general and the views were fantastic, There is a sharp corner in the pool that is a bit dangerous, we thought this should be a curved or rounded off. The key removal system switches off the dishwasher so you can’t go out and put it on. The AC needs topping up with Gas as some units don’t blow cold.
