On the north side of town (a few miles from downtown) but within walking distance of Kahill's restaurant which is worth something. Large room, comfortable bed, very decent hotel breakfast buffet. With us not on the top floor, we heard stomping around from above at all hours but that may have just been the luck of the draw to have had something like 300 pound insomniacs up there.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Property was very clean. I highly suggest ordering delivery from the nearby Italian restaurant. There’s a McDonalds in walking distance.

As good as it gets
Everything was as good as can be - spotless rooms, comfortable bed, blackout shades, well equipped room and bathroom. And, above all, quiet, a very restful experience.

This Holiday Inn totally changed my image of the company. It's state of the art, and better than Hampton, Courtyard, et. al. Great hi-def tv with every channel imaginable. The breakfast buffet is terrific, with the WARM cinnamon buns almost Cinnabon quality. All room/bath fixtures above par too. Next time I travel, I'll consider H. Inn Express, and will check for reviews. I doubt they are all as good as this one. Also, South Hill has a wonderful restaurant, 313 Franklin. A great stay all around.

Air conditioner broke in the middle of the night and the floor noise at 3:00 am was unacceptable. I did try to check in early and was laughed at by the staff woman behind the counter. She didn’t offer to keep our bags or offer an estimated time as to when our rooms could potentially be ready

The staff was very nice. The building was clean, mostly well kept; we had some tile damage in the bathroom but nothing horrible. It's next to a service station but it was still relatively quiet outside and 24hr food was just across a service road. We had a very nice, restful stay!

Overall hotel was average. Staff was kind but made some mistakes due to being new. Room had items left behind by previous guests on the floor and window in room had dirty handprints on them from the outside. Free breakfast was less than desirable and this hotel is not in town so you’ll need to travel one exit up for more food options. Truck stop next door with a McDonald’s and subway. No pets allowed including service animals.

The bed are a comfortable sleep. The front seat reception cold have been more courteous. The outside side trash receptacle overflowed from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning.

One bad employee.
Our stay was wonderful for the room I was in but the room my daughter and her family on Saturday the room was not cleaned trash was not emptied. Called for down to front desk around 6 and the female staff was rude condescending and unhelpful. Her attitude left us with the feeling of wanting to check out.
