Great Stay!

It was such a pleasure staying at this rental property! Great early check in accommodations, clean and comfortable home, and responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Home Base for Mountain Biking

We had a great time staying at this Sutter Trail home. The home is large, has a great outdoor space and grill, and was just a 5 minute bike ride from some fun beginner-intermediate mountain biking and hiking trails. It was a great place to stay, and I would definitely come back again!

One regret but that’s my fault

The house was very spacious. Clean, comfy, and easy to get to from town. Only issue was the house is not equipped for cooks. BUT I also did not reach out to managers before I got there to request pots, pans and baking dishes. I’m going to assume they would have been happy to provide. Other than that, sauna was inside and very large. I’d stay there again with some better preparation on my part. We love to cook!

Mostly good, few downers

Overall a good place. However a few things that prevent it from being a five star experience: 1) Lack of kitchen supplies. Very few tools. Only things available were a small thing of sugar and salt. No foil, wrap... Basically bare minimum. 2) Check out time was early. 3) No recreation supplies. Basically it felt like a rental. They give you a little hotel soap but nothing else that makes vacation rentals feel above.

Amazing home

The house was perfect size for our family which was 5 adults and two children. The home was a good location and very clean. Only complain, which is out of the owners control, was a neighbor across the street was very rude. The porch light and Christmas lights around the garage automatically turned on and the neighbor across the street began to shout at us saying “ you don’t live here!! It’s not Christmas !! YOU DON’T live here, turn off the lights!!” We didn’t even turn the lights on on purpose and he was just really rude shouting at us from across the street. Otherthan that incident, we had a great time and the home was very clean and a short drive to stores/shopping centers.

Fantastic Clean home in an excellent location

The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house was spacious and clean with nice amenities. The backyard was great to sit and relax and we really enjoyed using the Sauna. The bed's were a bit springy (could always feel when the other person moved or adjusted) and they could use some larger frying pans in the kitchen. Other than that we would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very roomy and comfortable. Has everything you need for a great stay including a sauna. We only used the sauna once during our 1 week stay since the weather was very warm. Plenty of supplies provided and the kitchen had everything we needed. Located a short drive to the Heavenly Ski Resort on the California side. The garage was perfect for storing ski gear. Great neighborhood for taking walks. The only downside was that a grill was not provided.

Nice spot for families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here with 4 adults and 4 kids (2-5 years old). Very nice layout where all the bedrooms are upstairs, especially with a small kids bedroom with bunkbeds. Note that if kids are running around downstairs, the noise travels fairly easily upstairs to all the bedrooms. Living area and kitchen is spacious, dining table could be bit bigger but not a big deal. Sauna is a bit plus! Location is nice, close to the lake and stores/restaurants (10-15 min drive). Pictures were as described. Kitchen tools could be improved to match the description of a chef serving culinary creations - a whisk and a real cutting board. Overall, really liked this place and would rent again.

Finally, a vacation!

After many months of not traveling, we finally took a vacation! It was so nice to escape to Tahoe. The house was a lovely and in a great location. We went to the American Century Goof Tournament and had a great time.

Almost perfect getaway!

Reviewer Comments: The property was clean & well maintained definitely wouldn't mind revisiting the home in the winter as it would probably be the best time to stay in this home due to the house not having an AC unit. Our stay was very uncomfortably warm & had a tough time adapting.

Perfect Place

Just as advertised. Sauna was a great plus after a hard day on the mountain. Other reviews were critical of the neighbors being a hassle but I didn't run into those issues thankfully, probably because during the winter we were mostly indoors and them as well. I would definitely rent this place out again.

Bad experience

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had bad experience while staying there. First, there was no air conditioning that forced us to open all windows to get the air and breeze during this summer time. So we do not have any privacy as all sounds in the house might cause problems to the neighborhood. I have my little boy that he was not allowed to run around to avoid making noise to the neighbors. My kids was scare to play inside the house because it might make noise. We thought that we did our best to accommodate the neighborhood but the lady next door made us in shocked. We were totally surprised and upset how racist the lady next door was. She came over to us and ordered us to turn off the "car alarm" that was total nonsense. The common sense is to lock the car whenever in your absence and the key car will sound "beep" to lock the car. Ridiculously the lady ordered us "to turn your god damm alarm off" or "I will call the police" even we explained that it's just the car alrm. She was even go further that stating " it is nice neighborhood and its not LA downtown." Then we are from LA, was that good enough to call her racist?? The contradictory is there was construction noise next couple houses and she said nothing.That's totally ruined my vacation. My family paid the rental property to enjoy vacation and expecting to enjoy but it turned out to be our family was stayed in the nursing home like for our vacation. I will not recommend this house to my friends or any one. The management team should know better about this bad neighbor before renting out house to us. We paid almost $1500 and it was night mare. RUINED my vacation.

Wonderful rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was extremely clean and spacious! Upgrades throughout, everything looks new inside, and it has a big beautiful backyard with a table to sit on the porch. Location is great , ten minutes from all the main areas of South Lake Tahoe and a very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to a nice trail. Would definitely stay here again!
