Lakeland Village spacious family friendly home

Location is right on the lake! We could watch the kids play in the sand and in the water from our deck. Comfortable clean unit and bedrooms rooms. We spent evenings watching the sunset on our deck overlooking the lake! A perfect vacation enjoyed by 3-generations!

Beautiful views of the lake. Large condo. Missing some items from the kitchen- (I.e. hot pads). Shuttle to and from Heavenly was an hour wait. Did not use the pool or hot tub

Great location but a little outdated

There were 12 of us that stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend, and we rated it 7/10. The consensus was that it was a great property, but some parts were a bit outdated. For example, the carpet on the stairs were really dirty and stained. On one of the bathrooms, the handle on the faucet came off and on another bathroom, the handle to the shower valve also came off. We did report the faucet handle and they fixed it the same day when we weren't in the property. The sliding door to the topmost bathroom also would not close all the way. Additionally, there is NO private bbq grill even though it stated that on the website (which has now been corrected) and shown in the photos. We asked for a grill to be brought over for a couple of hours but they suggested I use the shared bbq grill by the pool area. I wish I had known that before so I could have adjusted my menu and not cook bbq that day because I ended up using the shared grill but had to wait over 30 minutes since they were all in use. They originally only offered one parking pass for a 12-person property. It took a couple of emails to get their attention and they still only gave one additional parking pass. I asked for advice on where to park our other cars but they never suggested anything, so we ended up finding our own parking elsewhere. For those wondering, the two downstairs bedrooms have attached bathrooms. The three second-floor bedrooms have two detached bathrooms while the loft has one attached bathroom.

Major disappointment

The place is in need of major upgrades. Despite this fact the place was rented out to us. The carpets throughout the entire place are just filthy. The windows haven’t been cleaned for years. Spider webs and dirt all trough the house. Very unhygienic. The fridge was making constant noise. Stove top was not working properly. Dishwasher was dirty, old and moldy. When we complained, management just told us they can not accommodate in any way. They just send someone to dust the place. Cleaning crew did some sweeping on the patio. We were told that it is known to management and cleaning crew that this unit is in need of major changes and upgrades. Overall very disappointing stay, especially when you are there with little kids.
