"The Artist Grand Hotel of Art, Bilbao – A True Artistic Masterpiece ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just returned from a stay at The Artist Grand Hotel of Art in Bilbao, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had in Europe. Perfectly located directly across from the iconic Guggenheim Museum, this 5-star property doesn’t just offer a place to sleep—it immerses you in art, design, and Bilbao’s vibrant energy from the moment you arrive.  The location is unbeatable. Waking up to sweeping views of Frank Gehry’s architectural wonder right outside your window (especially from the higher floors or suites) is pure magic. The hotel’s design, a collaboration featuring artist Javier Mariscal, feels like an extension of the Guggenheim itself. The interiors are a stunning museum of 20th-century furniture and bold, whimsical details—think curated art installations, thoughtful contemporary touches, and spaces that spark creativity at every turn.  Whether you’re in Bilbao for the museums, architecture, or Basque cuisine, this hotel elevates the entire trip. It’s not just accommodation—it’s part of the cultural experience. "The location is very central, just off the main shopping street. The room was clean, there was big bathroom with bathtub. We had really good breakfast. It's a fantastic hotel with reasonable price."

"Everything was great. Only problem was our air conditioning wasn’t working and it was super hot that day and night. Did complain about it, as it was so late when we checked in they couldn’t do anything. Staff were kind and helpful. Would stay here again next time, hopefully the air conditioning will work."

"Iconic hotel on La Concha beach. Can't beat the location! Staff is amazing. Breakfast buffet so yummy, although not inexpensive. The restaurant and bar staff on point. Front desk team helpful. Concierge, while a lovely person, gave a few recommendations that were "duds." The hotel is "older" and we had some issues with our air conditioning maintenance responded changed filters, but it never got to a temperature that was cool enough for us; but it was also a heatwave, so I assume the system was stressed out. We had an ocean view which was amazing although the room itself was smaller than expected. Large bathroom! Overall, great stay!"

"Nice room - clean and compact. Breakfast was plentiful and good value. Location is central enough although I’d recommend walking into the centre and across rather than direct to the old town via San Francisco as that neighbourhood is slightly sketchy. Happy with my stay here and a good price. Would recommend."
