"Loved this hotel! Why? The location, the warm fireplace in the lobby, the onsite restaurant and bar. Spacious clean rooms. I would not stay anywhere else!"

"Very clean room, staff friendly and breakfast was very good, and great location close to town and Irish Rail. Didn’t realize that the Dean was in Galway and Dublin would have stayed there also. I know for next time when we go back :)"
The River Lee Hotel

"Great hotel, lovely staff. Car parking is €15 per day if you notify reception, not €3 per hour, which is what the signage says. While we were there the lift from the car park to the hotel didn’t work. The gym door in the car park says no access to the hotel, but this isn’t true their lift only seems to go to the first floor, but the stairs take you to the ground floor. For breakfast everything is available gluten free, you just have to ask. The room was great, but that’s what you pay for."

"Excellent location. We arrived early and they held our luggage for us, offered my daughter a space to get some work done in peace and quiet, and were all very friendly. Live music in the pub was a treat, and the only negative was the pub bartender who insisted his misogynistic jokes were appropriate and funny to another woman and myself."

"Amazing! We had 2 nights here and used The Kingston as our pamper day after a couple weeks travelling around Ireland. The Spa experience is a must ... fabulous! Room, restaurant, the hotel were all great. It's right on the river so I used a complimentary pushbike and did a river ride. Fully recommend!"
