Highly recommend talking with the staff about the history of this fascinating, historic hotel. The staff were also flexible, kind and made you feel comfortable. Clean, comfortable rooms. "I really enjoyed my stay here. While there isn’t a lot in the immediate vicinity (though Black Angus is right next door), it’s still in a convenient part of Vancouver, next to the highway which allows quick access to Portland or Downtown Vancouver. My room was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t notice any noises outside or from other rooms, so falling asleep was no issue. They included a complimentary breakfast which has a nice selection of items. A minor suggestion that the hotel could benefit from some renovations to enhance its charm further. Additionally, a reduction in single-use plastics could align with eco-conscious practices, although these are minor considerations in an otherwise wonderful experience. A special shout out to the staff, Abby and Destiny, as well as the woman who maintained the breakfast area. All were incredibly nice, professional, and helpful. This is a great option in Vancouver for the price and I would definitely stay here again. "
