    This property was wonderful with an amazing view, nice hot tub (although fills very slowly), unique design. Would definitely stay here again.

    Lovely home!
    We loved the location of the home, not too far from town but far enough to be peaceful. Views were amazing and house was very comfortable. It does not have a freezer so this is just something to plan for.

    Our favourite house
    This is our 2nd time staying in Kaldbakur and by far our favourite house in Iceland or possibly in entire world. Clean, quiet, warm and very comfortable. We got snowed in for 2 days during our stay and we just enjoyed spending time in the house relaxing, listening to the music, soaking in the hot tub, appreciating the incredible views, etc. We love this place and it certainly will not be the last time we stay here. Will be back again soon.

    Our family of four enjoyed our quiet stay. There was plenty of things to do during the day: whale watching, waterfalls, lava falls, shopping and dining. The view from the house was lovely and we really liked soaking in the hot pot after a full day of sightseeing.

    This place was an amazing place to stay and a very convenient place to stay in regards to taking day trips to the different regions of northern Iceland. The house was designed well to provide a relaxing places to rest and recuperate in the evenings. Overall, would 100% recommend

    Simply perfect
    My wife an I had an absolutely lovely stay. The house is beautiful, and the location is just amazing. We enjoyed the view over the fjord from the hot pot, and watching the Northern Lights right out of the bedroom. Just a short drive from Akureyri but a perfect little secluded hideaway with all the conveniences of home.
