"Cute and cozy cabin- we enjoyed sitting on the porch after a day in Glacier. Very close to the West entrance for visiting. Only “downside” for some might be lack of AC. Didn’t bother us, as we opened windows when we got back at night and it cooled off pretty quickly. Got to enjoy the fresh air of the mountains."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Under Canvas Glacier completely exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Every single person we interacted with was polite, friendly, and genuinely happy to help, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The location is absolutely perfect—close enough to Glacier National Park to make exploring easy, while still feeling peaceful and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and stunning scenery was something I’ll never forget.
This is the perfect blend of real camping and luxury. You still get the authentic camping experience—falling asleep to the sounds of nature, cozying up by the fire, and disconnecting from the busy world—but with all the glamorous touches that make it incredibly comfortable. The tents are beautiful, the beds are cozy, and all the amenities you need are provided… although I’d definitely recommend bringing a loofa! 😂
If you’ve ever wanted to experience camping without giving up comfort, Under Canvas Glacier is the place to do it. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and unforgettable getaway!"

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was excellent! You're six miles from the West glacier entrance which you can't beat. Great front porch to drink coffee on or relax after hiking all day. Right on the lake with kayaks available. Exceedingly clean and very comfortable. Well worth the money paid. Trudi is an excellent host and very responsive and attentive to needs or questions. Great place and host."
"An all around excellent stay. The owners, Scott and Nancy, are lovely and incredibly knowledgeable of the area. we stayed in the Ltl Grizz cabin and loved it. We visited and explored Glacier NP daily and returned to our cozy accommodations afterwards. there is a lovely on-site trail that leads to a pretty river. highly recommended!"
2 BD, 2B with Jet Bath Tub, Sauna, Sleeps 6, 2 minutes from West Glacier
8/10 Good
"The overall experience was good. The unit is clean, well maintained and offers easy access to the park. The bedrooms have plenty of space and the two full baths are very adequate. The kitchen is small but sufficient to cook meals and saves you from eating out every meal. On the negative side there are zero closets. It was 96 degrees the day we arrived and there is no air conditioning. There is a unit on the wall that says cooling and heat but there isn't a vent anywhere. Radiator wall units for heat in the winter months. Not used of course. The unit is right on highway 2. Road noise and the night club down the street were unbearable on Saturday evening. Spot light comes on after dark and shines directly in your face at the sitting area on the lower level which makes sitting outside after dark very unpleasant. There are three rentals all at the same location. The bottom floor, where we were. One on the third floor and another small house around the back of the main building. Wasn't a big deal other than some clunking around upstairs at times. Washer and dryer can be heard running next to the kitchen but are not accessible for the unit. Door says employees only. As noted the proximity to the park is fantastic. You can get up early and beat the rush easily. Traffic was backed up past the unit on a Tuesday after sleeping in and we waited for it to pass. You can enter the park for a late afternoon run to Lake McDonald or anywhere you want to go."
"Great staff, very nice and helpful.... This place is old, 1913, but right up my alley, no TV, just a bed and a shower in the forest, cool old fireplaces, great bar and restaurant. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I was ever going back to Glacier."
