"My wife and I had a great time exploring the finger lakes region. Staying in this cabin was a great locatiin to the two of the larger lakes. I wanted to stay away from people and this cabin fit that perfrctly. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the lakes. Everything was clean and a fully stocked kitchen. "Our stay at the Quiet Spot" was amazing. So many places to visit around the area. Surrounded by waterfalls and lakes, they give us an opportunity for pleasant drives. The house is wonderfully enchanted with trees set all around on a huge piece of land. Our hosts, Mindy and Steve have bird feeders and suet around the house for us to bird watch. We were lucky to see a woodpecker, bluejay and a chimney swift at the feeders. We watched a family of wild turkeys pass through the lawn to another path,...

Fair warning: do not take Burke Hill Road, even if it is faster. They had it mentioned in their booklet but the extra five minutes is worth it."

"This locations is great! My wife and I stayed to view the eclipse, but aside from that, there is plenty to do in the area. From wineries to hiking, and even an alpaca farm! If you're staying in the colder months I'd highly recommend bringing a comforter. It can get pretty cold at night, though propane heaters are provided.
