“This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area. We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup!”

It was very foggy about a week ago, and when you walked in to the building the hallway kind of reminded me of a con bless in Home smell in our room was a very musty smell, but otherwise the day was fine. “Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before……

Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage.
