"The staff was excellent, the rooms were fine and the location was great. I usually check places very carefully and was unaware that there are steps leading up to the hotel, and then steps up to the room, and no one was there to assist with getting baggage up. Restaurant was only open for breakfast, and there was no laundry service on site. Just little things that might have made me book elsewhere had I known. "

"We loved our newly renovated room. It was stylish and creatively designed— I got a few ideas for renovating my own home! The room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious. It was a special experience to stay in a historic building on the central plaza of the historic old town area. Really, this was an experience of a lifetime. "The people one floor below us were laughing loudly and yelling….at midnight. The air conditioning was not working and the staff refused to turn it on. We couldn’t open the windows because the people below were so loud we couldn’t sleep! Restaurant was bad."
