We loved the layout of the house, particularly that there were no stairs. Having a garage made a big difference in loading and unloading suitcases and groceries. Unlike our last VRBO in St. Augustine, there was a full size frig and dishwasher. The beds were super comfy and the sheets were so soft! There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t already there. Check in and checkout were very easy. The walk to the beach was very doable. We will definitely be back!

The Going Coastal Cottage is STELLAR

This sweet little cottage is super close to downtown St. Augustine, but far enough away to really enjoy the beach and other tropical flora. The hosts thought of everything to make you feel right at home. I will be coming back soon 😊for anvacsoon!

Great beach house

We had such a great time at Goin Coastal Beach House. The home was spacious with everything we needed. The location was wonderful- short walk to the beach which is beautiful. Our dog loved the beach and the back yard. So much to do and delicious food close by. We recommend this home for a great vacation.

Great time at Goin’ Coastal

We love staying in this home with our dogs. This is the 5th time and we plan to come back again. The location is so close to the beach with an easy walk for our dogs. The house has a fenced in back yard which allows the dogs free access on the patio. We could not ask for anything better.

Great for large family

We had a group of 10 and we all slept comfortably. The house was well equipped. And it was a short walk to the beach. One of my favorite things was the beach was never crowded.

Fantastic house and location!

This was our fourteenth year coming to St. Augustine for vacation. The house was great and well appointed. It had all we could have needed including beach chairs and towels, bikes, kitchen amenities, great appliances for family meals and even tools to make the stay easier for my mobility- challenged mother. The owner was helpful and even gave us great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!!

Walk to beach!

Great, spacious home. Walk to dog friendly beach that’s wide & flat which is perfect for biking. Nice TVs with lots of channels. Easily able to work from home using desk. Extra touches appreciated. We’d definitely return!

Great house

This house is exactly as listed. The kitchen stocked great-plenty of pans, dishes and seasonings. Beds are very comfortable. Beach is out the back door and down a path. Owners are very quick to respond!

Happy Days

Goin’ Coastal is a lovely beach area home filled with an atmosphere of relaxation and happiness. Hosts, Brian and Kelly were responsive, available and everything you could hope for . We rode the bikes, meandered to the beach nearby sometimes three times a day and the children loved the swing on an old oak tree just out the back gate. Wonderfully relaxing experience.

super cute house with adorable kid room!

Very nice home loved the kid room, my grandkids really enjoyed it. Clean and cute home with beachy vibe. The beach was a short walk until the 2nd day when they started work on replacing the walk over, but honestly w kids it was so much easier to drive and more fun taking our truck on the beach with all the gear! The only negative is it was spring break and the road was noisy and so much traffic, getting in and out of driveway was a little hard. I would suggest extra slide locks on top of front door just for safety and especially if traveling w curious toddlers. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and we truly enjoyed it!

Relaxing

This house is absolutely beautiful! It is exactly how it appears online. It is on a noisy and busy road. You can definitely hear traffic in the front part of the house and occasionally on the back patio. You get use to it though. The owners had some nice touches for us like chocolate, little bags of chips, bathroom soap bars, little shampoo and conditioner. These touches were sweet of them. We wished the yard had been mowed, as the grass was a bit high in the front and backyard area. The beach is white sand and not crowded. So very pretty. The waves were very rough and the current strong. I would not suggest if you have young children. The walk to the beach is definitely more than 3 minutes, probably more like 5 or 6. Still pretty close. The back path was overgrown in spots and I was even greeted by a two foot black snake one morning. The boardwalk going down to the beach has steps, some of them broken and when you pull a cart up and down them, they flip up and you have to put them back down. Overall, this was a great house in an ok area.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and the town did not disappoint. Everything was very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone and the beds were super comfortable. The walk to the beach was an easy 7-10 minutes. The hosts were great and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to come stay again soon.

Our stay at Goin' Coastal was wonderful! Brian and Kelly were easy to work with. The home was well decorated, supplied with everything we needed, and very clean. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The short walk to the beach was so easy with the wagon they provided. The kids loved the boogey boards! Birthday at the Beach!

The property was comfortable and we had all we needed for almost three weeks. The owners were quite responsive and tried to help with a couple of issues: 1) The TV remote did not operate . . . or at least no one in my group of 7 could get it to. Owner did come down and get it working on first night. It never worked after that. 2) The house is right on A1A. I knew that . . . but had forgotten how busy that road can be. Overall, the noise wasn't bad. But if someone in the front bedroom is a light sleeper and likes to sleep in, I suggest bringing a sound machine or a fan for a little white noise. 3) The dryer stopped working toward the end of our stay. Again, the owner was so very gracious and was over to start it quickly. However, the dryer never worked for me again. So I guess I didn't have the "magic" touch???!! Overall, the house was a comfortable place for all of us to visit and celebrate and create amazing memories. MOST IMPORTANT: The beach is amazing! Just don't leave anything down there overnight as the city cleans the beach thoroughly each night. I left a couple chairs and they were gone the next morning. Bummer!

Home is spotless with lots of beach necessities

I don’t have enough good things to say about this property! Upon entering, our first impression is that the home is spotless. Once settled in, we noticed Kelly and Brian had so many things included for use during your stay, like beach chairs, toys, towels, and beach cruisers! The beach is a nice walk away, and the hosts provide a cart to wheel your things to and from the sand. This home had everything we needed, and we will hopefully book again soon!
