Convenient getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Considering we had 2 families in the same residence for a week, it was fantastic. It’s a great place if you have a bunch of people that are like minded that can go past the “3 day rule”. The place was well stocked with everything for a beach day or staying in, playing board games or watching TV. Eating in was easy with 2 kitchens for making meals. We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend.

Awesome stay in St. Augustine!

Extremely clean property. Well setup for a family stay.As mentioned in the listing, it is on a busy road. During the day, there will be a bit of road noise. This seemed to quiet down in the evenings. Property manager was very responsive with any questions or issues.

Great house for multigenerational!!!

We have stayed here two years in a row now. We love Butler beach and this area is a great location. We did have some issues while there, but they had minimal impact on our stay and the owners wanted info on everything so they could address them with their handyman. It has a downstairs with its own kitchen so that has been great for our adult children who each bring a friend and then we do not get kept up too late. They added video games down there too for more entertainment. They enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Short trip to St Augustine

A house straight from the pages of a house magazine... no kidding. Every room, immaculate and attention to detail... allot of thought was put into each room, the flow, guest's needs and outdoor space. All these thoughts were almost lost the first 30 minutes on the property. First impressions weren't positive. A short trip means you don't get to make requests and there isn't time for responses...I know this. This isn't my first time... although I'm not seasoned with only about a dozen rentals... but there are certain expectations... such as safely reaching the front door. The steps are questionable.... the whole structure shook and swayed... things a staircase shouldn't do. Then the door code didn't work. Now check in is 4pm.. and sunset is 6pm... and we were wanting to get unloaded in the day light than hit the beach for sunset... and it got close. I had to request a remote door opening to just get the car unloaded. The directions for door lock operation were detailed but incorrect coupled with my code not being implemented... created a bad first impression. The host was very responsive... as if they were right there... never have i had such a response time... door issue was resolved with a new code. Stairs... well mentioning wouldn't have changed anything except create hassle on our end. Location location location. My last house was west of the A1A and I knew I wanted this one to be east of it. The walk was about 10 minutes casually paced... in a very

Perfect for families!

We spent a few days here with another family and it was perfect! When they say it's well stocked, it's truly well stocked! I wish all VRBO's that say they're well stocked are actually stocked like this one. From the cooking hardware to the cooking supplies (oils, herbs, seasonings, sugar, etc) to paper goods (plates, cups, cutlery, trash bags, napkins) to cleaning supplies (dishwasher pods, hand soap, laundry detergent) and plenty of bath and beach towels, it felt like a home away from home from the start. The setup is awesome as well, it’s like a house with two separate apartments that can be kept separate or made whole so one family had the bottom level (with King bed/bunk room and kitchen and walk out to the back patio and hottub) and the other family was upstairs with three bedrooms, the bigger kitchen and a balcony. Two sets of Washer/Dryer as well! The garage was stocked with a wagon and cart for chairs as well as some pool toys, boogie boards, etc. If you're picky about your beach chair I would recommend you bring your own, as the ones they have are rusted and beat up but they still work for what they're intended for! The walk to beach was short (but slightly hilly) and the beach was amazing. Big and flat with amazing sand! However, the house is not in a very walkable location to much, other than the beach and the little plaza across the street. The general area is sleepier than St. Aug, not as refined or pretty, basically a lowkey area a few miles south.

Great stay and proximity to beach

We loved this house and would stay again. It was a short walk to the beach also if you drive on the beach the access road is just a street away. The house has a great layout. We had 2 people in the basement apartment and our family of 4 in the upstairs. Fenced backyard was an added bonus and hottub for the evenings. The kitchen was well equiped for cooking if you want to eat in some. The owners were easy to work with as well.

Great place with a great host!

We love this neighborhood and area. And this is a great place when you have teenage or older kids so they can have their own separate area downstairs or for multiple families or friends. Host had the best communication whenever needed. The street on A1A can be busy but noise was not a problem for us as others commented on. Would rent here again! Thanks to owner for being very welcoming and sharing your place!

Well Appointed with lots of Room to spread out

Four adults stayed for 6 nights in January. The home is very nice, with comfortable furniture and beds. Everything you need to cook a meal in, which we did twice. Home was very clean. Pickleball was 9 minutes away. Although the weather was a little cool we really enjoyed the area and home. Large Tv’s in both living rooms was really nice. The home would be fantastic for a larger group especially with the two kitchens. Layout of the home was super. Short walk to a beautiful beach. Would definitely come back. Communication with host was exceptional.

Perfect Getaway

We had an amazing time at this property. The host was incredibly responsive, usually within minutes, and very accommodating. This house was clean and it’s the first time I didn’t feel the need to do my own cleaning before enjoying the house! The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was very much appreciated by my dog after his daily swim at the beach. Overall a perfect house for a wonderful vacation in Butler Beach. Would definitely stay again!

Fun Birthday Stay

Had a great time for my daughters 21st birthday. Extremely clean and lots of bedrooms and beds to hold 9 of us comfortably. Easy walk to the beach.

A home away from home - Getaway 😊

From the moment we booked this perfect home, the owners responded and accommodated us at every turn. The location was perfect for the beach and for those who preferred to stay at the house the back patio was the place to be. Great place

This is a great house! The separate living areas upstairs and downstairs worked really well for us as we were able to stay with our small kids downstairs while the rest of the group stayed upstairs. The house is very close to the beach and is well stocked. Communication from the hosts was very good. The beds are comfortable!

Clean spacious and great outdoor space

Wonderful home for a wedding weekend. 8 people easily enjoyed this beautiful home with lots of space. Only downside was AC units come out of windows made it jard being so close to the road.

Perfect St. Augustine Getaway! We appreciated the large space with lots of beachy decor and proximity to stunning beaches. The hosts have really thought of everything and it shows. We forgot our Yeti mugs, for instance, but the house had several. You’ll love your stay here!

Spacious, clean, and comfortable!

We stayed at this property for a short weekend trip (8 adults and 2 dogs). We had plenty of room and the house was very clean. The in-law suite was ideal for us because it opened to the fenced back yard and allowed us to keep our dogs separate from the rest of the house (not everyone in the group was a fan of having dogs inside). The house was walking distance to the beach. But, it's located on a busy highway, so there was some noise at night. I would recommend a noise machine or earplugs for sleeping if that's something that bothers you. Also, the hosts were very responsive and answered my questions quickly. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at the beach!
