Weekend break

Property was so cosy and spotless…local area and beach very pretty and peaceful. Food in the local inn was so good we went twice ☺️

The Byers Tethra at St Bees is a lovely place to spend a few days.

The Byers Tethra at St Bees is a lovely place to spend a few days. Very dog friendly.The sea front and walk along the top of St Bees head are amazing.The two (very) local pubs in St Bees both served great food and were good value for money. I recommend booking a table in advance at busier times of year, unless you don’t mind a wait..!The area around St. Bees has numerous places to see and do. We went on the 1/4 gauge train (The Ol’ Ratty..) at Ravenglass and walked around the edge of the Scafell range of mountains. Keswick was not too far and the Lakes Distillery is worth a visit for Whiskey, Gin, Vodaka.
