St. George Golf Hotel

"The very best thing about this hotel are the amenities. Having multiple activities to do FAR outweighs the cons of this hotel. Billiards, ping pong, mini golf, pickleball, basketball. Who needs Fiesta Fun? You've got it right there at your hotel! And I love that the pool is indoor/outdoor and it is always heated. The breakfast is just mid and carpet and rooms are outdated, but the staff is great and I really have no complaints. I will continue to stay at this hotel. "

"No shower curtain had to request for one. When checking in I asked what time the pool closed, was told 11pm was only in the pool for 20 mins and was asked to leave. Didn’t enjoy our stay. Also parking was very limited."

"This place was super nice!! My room was super clean and didnt smell weird (which was a winner for me). I didnt have the chance to have there breakfast, but from what I saw, they had multiple options and was at a good reasonable time!! The pool there was REALLY nice, super clean and had lots of places to chill to get your tan on!! My only complaint was that the main light in my room had a flickering light bulb? But there was multiple lamps that lit up the room just fine so we just left it alone. Other then that, its a 10/10 from me!!!"

"A good hotel to travel with dogs. A pet friendly hotel, but the first room we got it was the worst, we ask for a different room and it was so much better, the rooms are old, and not the cleanest. The room we got first didn’t work the AC and had a terrible odor. The staff really nice, they change our room after telling them about the smell. The next room was fine. Better beds, AC worked, and cleaner than the first one. This hotel has pet friendly spaces and a lot of dogs in the hotel staying, so it feels good to be with other dog owners. Also they have a Vet in front of the hotel. "

"I am not fussy about a room but if the bed is bad that’s a deal breaker for me! The bed was terrible and the sink and tub drains were slow to drain and the towels were so thin and worn. The breakfast was good and it was a good location but we won’t be staying there again."

"I was honestly surprised at the 8+ rating of this hotel. To be fair, it had what we needed which was basically a bed and a breakfast. But our room was definitely older, No doubt in need of remodeling-the carpet just felt gross and some wall paper was peeling. The bathtub was stained and the size/shape of the tub was just awkward. Between the grab bar and fabric shower curtain which, let’s face it, nobody wants to rub up against, there’s really only one position you can stand in and then do not move! Our shower head had so little water pressure and could not be moved at all, lending to the awkwardness of the shower. But, the water did get very hot, so that’s good. The beds were hard as could be though the bedding was nice. Extra bedding was provided. Towels were clean and plentiful. The breakfast was just meh…same thing for two days. The first day, the food was gone when we got there an hour before it ended and very slow to refill. The second day, it just seemed to be sitting for a very long time. All in all, I prefer the first day where at least what we did get was fresh. Check-in and check-out was easy. Location was great, just as we got into town with plenty of restaurants, shopping, gas, etc nearby. It felt very safe and I wasn’t worried about our vehicle in the parking lot. The price wasn’t anything special. I imagine many local hotels were in that price range so with other options, I probably will not stay again but not way others away either. It was just okay."
