A PIECE OF PARADISE

This sweet getaway is the perfect place to enjoy all the Island has to officer. The unit was just professionally decorated. It is literally only 300 feet to the sandy beach from the front door. It sleeps 6 comfortably with two separate bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Each room has its own TV. The living room offers family time at its best with a TV and a stereo. Condo is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer. The sparkling pool has a covered deck and Weber charcoal grills for grilling after a long day at the beach or sightseeing.
This location allows you close access to the bike trail that spans the entire length of the island. Within walking distance to this place is waterfront dining offering great outdoor seating and live music most evenings, as well as the St. George Island Lighthouse. Just over the St. George Island Bridge is the bridge to Apalachicola which is one of Florida’s most historic coastal towns offering fresh seafood right out of the bay, fantastic art galleries, antique shops and unique nightlife.
Some of the popular pursuits on the island are swimming, walking, running, and cycling. The St. George Island State Park is located at the east end of the island. I also own a unit, across the hall which faces the Gulf, Called The Getaway. The vrbo number is 1051272 Check it out. You will love it!

As a fisherman, I can personally vouch for the great fishing spots. Some of the fish just waiting to be caught are: redfish, flounder, trout, and whiting.
Enjoy the world renowned 'Apalachicola' Oysters at most of the local hot spots.
St. George Island has one of the world's most stunning beaches and it is just steps from this quaint condo! Bring your friends or family and create the vacation that you have been dreaming of. I assure you this rental will have you in the middle of paradise, at a practical price.

Nice condo, tastefully decorated, across the street from the beach. Master bath is a bit cramped, but otherwise the unit is spacious. Nice view of the Gulf.

Great mini vacation

The property was everything as described. Beach access was right across the road which made things very easy when taking chairs, etc. with us. A jump into the pool after a long day at the beach was so relaxing. The pool was never crowded because there's only six rentals on the property. The instructions given beforehand were very clear so we had no misunderstandings. The only thing I would improve on is the number of bath towels and wash cloths. We were a family of four and there were only two of each. We did bring beach towels as told in the instructions and used some of them for the showers. Of course there is a washer and dryer so you could wash them if needed. Our family had a great time!

Great Location-Not so clean-No Response

Easy check in, however, I messaged the owner through VRBO several times to see about an early check in and no response. I also messaged about the issues I had but no response from the owner so here it is...Home is set up nicely with good AC upon first view and the location is awesome, with the beach just across the street. Once we were settling in after a long day at the beach, the couches were gritty with sand on them from the previous guests and there were only 3 bath towels and 3 wash cloths even though we reserved for 5 people. I called all numbers listed and left messages for towels, finally one nice lady answered and gave me access to the closet but no towels there, then had me check another condo but there was someone there. Finally, she said buy towels and I would be reimbursed; I sent the receipt and still waiting to hear back:( Later, we noticed there was no extra toilet paper (rolls that were there were not new) and the hand soap usually sealed in the package was open and used. Luckily, we only stayed 1 night. It was dirty under the beds; there were roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. This has the potential to be an amazing place if the owner was responsive, it was clean and with plenty of supplies. If you book bring towels, toilet paper, and roach spray.

Slice of Paradise

This property was perfect. It was clean, a great size, and steps from the beach. You could sit on the front porch and listen to the ocean. It was a great area, and even on New Year's Eve it didn't get too crazy. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of dinnerware and appliances to suit anyone's needs.Checkout instructions were not posted, so I went through my booking information to make sure that I was doing things correctly. However, there weren't unreasonable expectations for checkout. It was quite easy. Checkin was also easy as well.It was a perfect stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend

The unit was as described and we enjoyed the time with family. Especially nice that so close to the beach. Great view of the stars at night! Only negative was 2 partial rolls of toilet paper 1 in each bathroom. Would advise to bring toilet paper! LOL.

We enjoyed our stay. Just what we needed for proximity to the “Big House” rental. Close enough to stroll over without staying with a crowd. Response to pre-stay email was not received; but on site contact was responsive and helpful.

Cute condo, good beach access

Very cute condo with all amenities. Nicely located with easy access to pool and beach walkway. Quiet. We had trouble figuring out which condo we had rented - never could find a condo number in the listing or the emailed docs and had to go door to door to figure it out; luckily everyone was very nice! Would rent again.

Wonderful Trip

We loved the location but was a little unhappy about the palmetto bugs that were in the place and how the breezeway was so dirty. A few storms came through and the pool was never cleaned and remained dirty throughout the stay as well as chairs not being cleaned. We had to bring towels out to clean before we could use it. Island was beautiful just wish the place we stayed was taken better care of
