Welcome to Blue Crab - Your vacation home on the island. This lovely home has it all! Centrally located, you can walk to shops, restaurants, and the SGI Lighthouse Park. Relax and unwind while watching the dolphins. Vaulted ceilings with beautiful tile flooring complement the spacious great room / dining / kitchen. Blue Crab has been tastefully decorated with your comfort in mind. A well-stocked kitchen makes meals a snap.

Oversized master bedroom has a private deck overlooking the sand and waves. Queen bedroom with ensuite bath allows for privacy and separation. Cool loft boasts twin beds perfect for children or adults.

Outside living is easy with two large decks that offer both sun and shade. Charcoal grill is ready for your fresh catch. There’s also an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) for rinsing off after a day on the beach. Bring your basketball as we are only 6 homes from the court and Lighthouse playground.

Truly one of the best beachfront values on the island.

Perfect week

Loved the fact that the proximity of the house was close to everything within walking distance. The house itself was clean, stocked with everything that we could have needed. My only request is that there could have been tvs in the extra bedrooms in case we had brought our children. All in all, I would say, was ten out of ten, highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Crab! Very clean and smelled incredible! All furniture was in great shape and comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

We love staying on East Gorrie by the lighthouse. Blue Crab so far is our favorite! Well equipped and pretty beach/crab decor. Hope to stay here again!

This is my second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as my first stay! Can't beat the location; you cannot underestimate the importance of staying beachfront. Beautiful property. We may just make it a threepeat next year!

Perfect location!

This was our second stay at the Blue Crab and it was just as enjoyable as our first stay. Perfect location within walking distance to coffee, ice cream at Aunt Ebby’s and several shops and beach rental places. Perfect location if you are bringing your dog as most of the restaurants are dog friendly and there is a park with plenty of space for walks and potty breaks. This location has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Amazing stay!

The property was gorgeous, the location absolutely perfect and the host could not have been any more helpful. Everything about the stay from the reservation to the check-in to the checkout process was well explained and easy. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be booking for our next stay on the island at the Blue Crab!

Awesome family beach week!

Loved the on-the-beach location that was close to restaurants and shops. Also happy there was no noise issues with being close to the rec area and the retail areas. Found what we needed in the rental to cook a few dinners, too. Communication was great with the host! Spent a few of the rainy afternoons exploring Appalach and Port St Joe.

Perfect stay!

This was our first time on the island but it definitely won’t be our last. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and is in a perfect location. It was stocked with everything we could have needed. The beach is a very short walk with most of it being on a wooden walkway. The owner is very easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions I had. Book the Blue Crab! You will not regret it!

Have stayed at many VRBO units through out the states and the Blue Crab is one of the cleanest. Everything was in proper working order and up to date. Had a great time and will recommend this place to other family members and friends. Thanks for sharing your bit of paradise.

This property is perfect for us. It has everything we need, makes us feel right at home and is in a great location. We didnt get in the car once all week! Becky is a great host. Communicates great and very responsive. We will be back hopefully for years to come!

Blue Crab

My husband and I have been to SGI many times but this was my sister and brother-in-laws first time to the island. This was our first time staying at the Blue crab. The location of the rental is perfect you can walk to pretty much anything. The “check in” process was super easy. You receive a message a few days prior to your arrival with clear instructions. We would definitely stay here again. We also celebrated my husband’s birthday on the island!! Thanks again for us to stay in your home.

Great location

House was pretty much as expected. Had everything we needed. Great beach and walking distance to lots of stuff. Only down side for us was lots of stairs. Living area and bedrooms are on different levels. To get to the beach we had to walk up one flight to the living area and then down two flights to the beach. Only the master bedroom had direct access with only one flight down to the beach.
