"We loved the remote private feel of this property less than 10 minutes to town. Our poodle delighted in romping on 10 acres. We enjoyed great eateries in area towns and the nearby rivers and parks. The cabin is beautifully appointed, everything you need provided. Front porch sitting brought our stress levels down. Comfy couches, good TV and internet speed, restful memory foam mattress. "This property was exactly what we were looking for. It is peaceful, serene, beautiful. Loved taking the walk daily down the mowed road through the field down to the river with our pups! We also drove down to the river too.The cabin has an old world charm and the essentials you need like pots and pans for cooking as well as some small appliances, fridge and oven. Plates, glasses and silverware too. The cabin also had air conditioning and heat. They had a TV and wifi which we hardly used. There...

"The cabin and the grounds were perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving trip. Hands-down, definitely the best stay we've had so far. The cabin, interesting with it's history, has been beautifully and functionally updated. Cooked dinner and two breakfasts on the outdoor Blackstone griddle (nice touch!). The fire pit and s'mores were wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. And, the property and river were so unique. What a great place. Super hosts (thanks Donna!)."

"Relaxing cabin on a ridge overlooking the river and farmland. Comfortable and nicely decorated on the inside, with all the amenities you'll need. A large deck with a view for morning coffee or a peaceful evening. Although the area offers many great outdoor activities, you'll want to spend a lot of time staying in and enjoying this cabin!"

"This cabin was probably built in the 70s or early 80s based on the decor, but it was clean, comfortable, has the washer/dryer and dishwasher which was a blessing."

"The house was just as described. This was the second time we stayed in one of their homes. The only issue I have, and this prevented me from 5 stars, was we arrived a little after the check in time, and the owners (I am assuming), were there outside and before check out time, they drove by (this was a dead end street). This made us a bit nervous and irritated."
