Location: Sunset Beach, Treasure Island, Florida, USA (30 Minutes from Tampa International Airport)


Accommodations: Condominium, 2 Bedroom-2 Bath (Sleeps 6), ocean front pool. 5th floor #503 Sunset Chateau is right on the beautiful white sand of Sunset Beach on the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. Quiet residential area with a short walk to food, drink, and entertainment. Owner refinished all furniture and painted all artwork to give a shabby-chic, artsy feel to the unit.

The unit sleeps up to four with a King-sized bed in master bedroom and two Twin-sized beds in 2nd bedroom.. The unit is fully furnished with everything you could possibly need for a one week or three month stay.

Flexible on check-in/check-out days and times for guests who are flying when arrival/departure date is not also another party's departure/arrival date. Please request any modification to check-in/check-out.

Sunset Chateau is a non-smoking property including balconies and pool areas. Smoking is permitted at boardwalk picnic tables and beach.

Madeira Beach, located west of St. Petersburg is home to John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, a fun attraction for all ages. John's Pass, or the Pass to locals, offers top dining and nightlife options, family-friendly attractions, shopping and water sports. While walking the 1,100-foot boardwalk, see alligators at The Alligator Attraction and dolphins playing in the Gulf's waters. Walk into dozens of unique shops that sell everything from beachwear to shells to find the perfect souvenir or gift.

Madeira Beach's restaurants welcome family and friends to try the fresh local flavor. Many top-rated restaurants at the Pass feature entertainment, specials and events as well. The Seafood Festival at John's Pass – held annually in October – hosts more than 100,000 guests to celebrate food, music, and arts and crafts.

Water lovers can para-sail, rent jet skis or deep-sea fish to complete their beach vacation. John's Pass is also a popular fishing destination and brings in more grouper than any other place in Florida. It is right smack dab on the beach! We could always see the Gulf! It was very clean, always quiet, and decorated beautifully. The owners were wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! If we get the chance, we will definitely go back!

This place was great, I wanted to find a spot where I could just veg, read a book, get some sun. This spot hit all the buttons I was looking for. The beach was right outside the building, two outside restaurants close by. Neighbors were cool, loved the pool. The bottle of champagne and beer was a great xtra as well. I would for sure come back.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children. We had a wonderful week! The owners were easy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would particularly recommend this condo for families with kids; the location right on the beach is fabulous and the condo is fully stocked with eveytihg you'll need for a week at the beach!

The beach was beautiful , we walked down the beach for drinks and great seafood. David was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating with our late flight in. It’s been two years since we have been on a vacation. This property was absolutely perfect. From easy contact with owners to the condo being stocked with Everything we needed to the extra touches like beer, water and champagne in fridge and snacks for kids! The white sand beach and pool were awsome for the kids and with all the beach items we need and cart to get it all to the beach was an added bonus. Great location too! Close enough to things to do but far enough away to relax and not have too many people around. Thank you for making this a very remember full family vacation. We will definitely be returning!

We just returned home from 6 days at Treasure Island. My brother and his family stayed in this same condo a year ago and highly recommended it. It’s clean, cute and beach front. The kitchen is very well stocked with pretty much everything you’ll need to cook. There are also some spices in the cupboards as well as dish & dishwasher soap. The closet in the extra bedroom has umbrellas, tents, chairs, a cooler, floaties and lots of other beach accessories. There are also several beach towels to use. The neighbors in the other condos were super friendly. The noise level was pretty quiet for the most part. There were some younger crowds that were at the beach that weren’t super quiet but definitely didn’t get out of hand. Plenty of room on the beach to sit your camp up for the day. No one bothers your stuff. The sand is white, shells plentiful! The sunsets are just amazing. We ate at Caddy’s just down the street (walk, don’t try to drive, you won’t find parking ) which was the best food we had all week. We also did the Shell Key excursion. A boat took us to Shell Key to snorkel and look for shells for 2 hours. Shells were everywhere, even found a few sand dollars. There is a community washer and dryer next to the elevator. Bring your own quarters - $1.75 to wash/$1.50 to dry. Super convenient so we didn’t have to bring much dirty laundry home with us. Given the opportunity, we will be back! We loved our time there.

We have stayed on TI previously in other VRBO units. This unit was excellently maintained and very comfortable and surpassed the conditions of the other units in this building. It is 30 feet from the Gulf and on the higher floors had an excellent sunset view. The owner's guidance for the unit was very helpful, and he was available to assist us in setting up the TV/cable system which I had inadvertently erred in operating. The condo is located on a quiet street with little local noise or traffic yet was close to stores and other needs. The only suggestion I would make is to install safety grab bars inside the showers. We would return to this unit again.

We had a great spring break stay on Sunset Beach. The property was just as advertised and we were actually able to get into the unit a little early. We had excellent communication with the owners and lots of great beach days. We got lucky with the weather the entire week. We would stay there again.
