“We came to Minnesota from Texas to visit extended family. This was the perfect space for eight adults and two children. It is a beautiful home with lots of room with an ideal location on the lake. “The moment you walk into this beautiful cabin you will feel like you're in the woods. The beautiful cabinetry and wood work is breath taking, along with the counter tops in the kitchen. The bathroom is just as beautiful with a giant shower. The only issue we had was there wasn't a fan that we found in the bathroom so it did get steamy after a shower. “We stayed here for our annual family weekend. We have a large family and it comfortably fit us all. The backyard worked great for yard games and hanging out. It was nice to have so many options for little ones to nap without being disturbed. We made our way to Father Hennepin State park for a day and spent a morning playing disc golf in Milaca which also had great playgrounds to visit. The lake was very green, but it still worked great to have a dock for launching canoes and kayaks from. ”

“Great place for large groups, especially if you rent both houses. The interiors are really nice. The showers, beds, common rooms and kitchen are all updated, and they are clean. There is always some worry about whether the amenities are not as good as the pictures, but the firepits, the grills, the sauna and the hot tub are all set up very well and are great to use.
