We had an amazing time at Hilltop Hideaway!

Immaculate home with spacious rooms and bookshelves filled with great books. We loved the cozy sitting area. Great location, short walk to downtown Staunton.

Amazing stay, great location!

We were impressed by the layout and cleanliness of this beautiful four-bedroom home. There was plenty of space and a great variety of books. Walking distance to downtown Staunton. We will return!

Nearly everything about our stay at Hilltop Hideaway was perfect.

The house balances its historic features with modern touches and updates. It is a great configuration for large groups, families, or anyone looking for a space that allows for central hangout areas and the ability to escape for a little quiet time. All of the great shops, restaurants and bars are an easily walkable. The commute to destinations like the national park and other area attractions aren't too far of a drive. Hilltop Hideaway is a great choice for a stay in downtown Staunton.

Holiday together time

We absolutely loved the house. It has great character, is spacious, and stocked with everything we could have needed. We loved having vinyls playing in the background while we had quality time together. 3 couples, one adult, one infant - perfect amount of space.

Excellent!

Perfect size for our family. The master bed was comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed the old record player and albums. Hope to book this again in the future.

Best Spot in Staunton!

What a beautiful home! This was the perfect location for a business retreat, and it accommodated our small group perfectly. It's difficult to find downtown locations with a large living area – but this home had more than enough room for all our projects and discussions. We intend to reserve again next year!

Wishing we could have stayed longer!

From entry to exiting, everything was perfectly wonderful. The home is a delightfully clean space. The request to remove shoes inside encouraged all of us to work together moving in. The guys unloading the vehicle to the curb, children assisted getting things to the doorway, where the rest of us, with our shoes off, could move things inside. It was a great excercise in cooperation after the day of travel😊 We made our meal plan and went out to the delightful Gypsy Hill City Park. The park is expansive and offers something for individuals of all ages. After some enjoyable play and sightseeing, we returned to the house to have a meal, play a board game and cleanup for the restful night. Everyone in our group of 6 ranging from 70 years to 11 years old was refreshed and comfortable. Thanks for allowing us the privilege!

This was the perfect house for a group of friends (with small kids) - great house and location.

We really loved this house! It was a great downtown location and the house had an amazing kids room, comfortable beds, and the host was very quick to respond with our questions!
