"This property was a total disaster. It was advertised as having air con. No restrictions. We get there and were told there is no air con from 10pm to 10am. I would never have booked the place without air con. We were told to leave the windows open and were eaten alive by bugs all night. Spoke to the owners and were told ok we would be able to use the air con the following day. Guess what… next day all of a sudden the air con “doesn’t work” may be a day or two until it’s fixed. "Very disappointed with the accommodation it is in desperate need of renovation, i am sure it was lovely when first done but it is very tired in particular the bathrooms and kitchen area, glad we were only there for one night "

"We recently stayed at this apartment and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside we felt relaxed. The apartment itself is spacious, providing ample room to relax, with a thoughtful layout that made it feel even more expansive. All the amenities you could need were readily available. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and there is also an outside braai area. The shower/bathroom is huge with plush towels and toiletries. One of the standout features of the apartment is the stunning views of the bay. The large windows allowed natural light to flood the apartment, which created such a tranquil, serene atmosphere during our stay. Overall, it was an incredibly peaceful and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for comfort, and somewhere truly beautiful. "

"We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! "

We decided to leave. They said they would refund the money and then charged us for two days anyway. Do your self a favor stay somewhere else. "
