“Took my first solo trip with just my dog and I to do some hiking/exploring. This was the perfect little getaway spot for us. It was very cozy and we loved exploring the property! “The cabin was clean, and the air conditioning great. It rained but the covered deck made it possible to sit outside and relish in the beautiful views of the river. We saw an eagle fly overhead and land in a tree across the river. Was quite surprised that there wasn't more wildlife. Spiders (brown recluse and others) and wasps were a bit of a nuisance, the deck and outside area could use a good sweeping. “This rental is cozy & cute. Beds are comfortable. Spacious place for my daughter & I. The hot tub was great to use after hiking all day (although that cover needs replaced!) I liked having a kitchen so we could cook instead of eating out all week, although they didn’t have any pots and only salt & pepper for cooking. The place is about half hour to most trails, which I didn’t mind considering the price & how nice the place was. Parking was easy for just our 1 vehicle in the driveway.”

“Michelle was an excellent host. She was very friendly and talked to us each day we were there. Just so you know, this is a cabin. There is no running water or toilet. There is a shower house and port a john. Both were very clean and we really enjoyed the cabin itself. There is a nice porch, a covered porch and plenty of room for two adults and two kids (it was just us when we stayed. There is a ton of open space to hike and wander, like 100 acres worth. Pro tip- you need to bring your own……
