"My first time staying at leonardo and a fantastic experience. Exceeded expectations to be honest. Welcomed by Andrea, who upgraded me knowing I was on a few days work trip and had a stressful journey to Southampton. Lewis at reception always had a big smile, even when there were long queues of guests trying to claim his attention, he was super calm, friendly and simply genuine. Joseph was very sweet and patient, helped me warm my room and bought me extra towels without me even asking (he saw that I’d used all mine and just used his initiative to bring me some fresh towel and take the ones lying on the floor). Morita was the best thing every morning, greeting me with a big beautiful smile, and offering me takeaway coffee for breakfast before I run into the office. Everyone at the restaurant was very polite and professional, but morning staff there were just 10/10, quick to run around refilling stations and plenty of help around for the busy morning period. No complaints whatsoever, I’ve stayed in 5 star hotel and not experienced such excellent customer service! Onto the room- modern yet cosy. Everything was clean, big windows, blackout curtains, the TV and remote WORKED!!! Bed was wonderful, loads of pillows and good quality, firm ones at that! The little thing made a big difference like: propping the pillows. Plenty of tea and coffee refreshments, good brands too. Bathroom isn’t modern but it’s very clean and I have no complaints. Great experience I’ll be back. "

"Lovely hotel overlooking the marina in Ocean Village, room was spacious and very comfortable with everything a visitor needs, bathroom also well fitted with a choice of a bath or over bath rainfall shower. Shops, restaurants and bars close by so perfect for our overnight after our cruise. Shuttle service from the cruise terminal to the hotel very welcome and efficient. Food and service in the 6th floor restaurant good with a super view of the marina."

"It was an excellent stay that the staff aided by being very friendly and helpful. My sister travelled from America and has to have gluten free. Simi and Jaison made sure she got everything she needed and Simi especially is a friendly and bubbly member of the staff. The only criticism is there was nowhere for me to sit as all the chairs were too low for me as I suffer from Arthritis. Maybe add a couple of adjustable leg chairs, please! The hotel is wheelchair friendly and all the staff were happy to help whenever needed. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast every morning with a great selection from cereal to cooked food, American pancakes and full English, Lots of fruit and juices as well as coffee and tea were available. The room I was given had a disabled bathroom. The bedroom had plenty of room for my walker."

"Checkin was very brief, receptionist was busy helping someone else so started to check us in even though we were happy to wait. Didn’t give us any info on breakfast etc, good job we had stayed here before! Bed was very uncomfortable and very squeaky floorboards in the bedroom but room was very clean and spacious. Location is spot on for the beach and town, in walking distance. You do have to pay for the car park but roads close by are free to park if you are lucky enough to get a space."

"The hotel staff are really nice very helpful my room was on the 3rd floor was like a maze to find it the room it self was clean and basic with tea/coffee. Room was a great size bathroom very small ( nothing the hotel can do about that ) the double bed was really nice good size nice warm bedding with great pillows. Black out curtains would be nice as the ones let in loads of light. Nothing bad, breakfast was good as well definitely worth the money before leaving. All in all very good I’ll be using again Hotel is a little dated yet for the price your paying to stay what more can you ask for "
