"We really liked this hotel and would stay here again. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful; the barbecues were convenient; the free breakfast was good; and it is in a good location in a nice area. We drove downtown to go to various museums each day, and it only took about 15-20 minutes to get anywhere from this hotel.
Also, the pillows are amazing and fluffy!
The one complaint I can offer for this hotel is that if you want to cook actual meals in your room, the equipment and utensils they give you is very limited. I personally found it difficult to cook with so little to work with. Rooms probably vary, but this is what was in our room:
2 pots with lids and a metal frying pan
A microwave safe tray, bowl, and container
2 large cutting knives and 1 small one, all extremely dull
1 old can opener which barely worked
1 slotted serving spoon and 1 plastic spatula
A two-slice toaster and a small coffee maker
There was no kettle, no strainer of any kind, no large bowls, no non-slotted spoon or ladle, no metal spatulas for the barbecue, no tongs, no spaghetti fork (this made it hard to cook fettuccine!).
I managed alright, but it would have been nicer with a few more utensils available. I am sharing this so others know what to bring.
Also note the stovetop is very small, only two smallish burners close together, so large pots would not fit there.
Lastly, the room did have a hair dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board.
