Hotel was older but quaint. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and breakfast was good. Hotel manager was the nicest host and quick to help make our stay perfect. If we are in the area again, we will stay here.

Honestly just a really cozy place to stay. Had no issues, zero noise, and very kind and helpful reception. I’d stay here again, we had a really nice stay! Also very clean and free breakfast in the morning :)

Large clean room with comfortable beds. There was a decent selection for breakfast and one of the better cups of coffee too. The AC unit was a little loud but otherwise no issues. Definitely met ours needs for the weekend. The owner was very nice and welcoming.

This was a GREAT affordable place to stay. The owner was VERY accommodating. We had a late arrival (2:00am) and he opened the office to check us in. He upgraded us from two queen beds to a king. He was so kind in offering information regarding things to see while visiting Vermont. I would 110% recommend.

Went to Stowe Jazz Festival and wanted to save a lot on the room and still get breakfast. This was well worth the 35 minute drive. Staff was superb and everything was absolutely clean.

The motel is very big and was nearly empty, so it felt a bit eerie. There are not many staff around. But once I found a staff person, they were very helpful. And my stay overall was quite fine.

The owner is an awesome guy. He is easy to work with, hands-on, does much of the work himself, and very responsive. Dollar for dollar, you get the best value. Although the room we stayed in is older, it is really big (comes with a kitchenette) and really clean.

Hotel property was a bit run down (served as a homeless hotel before) but the owner is making a good effort to make changes. These are not all the way, so the hotel was a bit under my standards (older furniture and carpets). In all, the services did work (good towels, shower, tv ...) Advice for improvements: -They need to provide a better breakfast (it was too limited and basic) -They need to improve communications (2 of my messages went unanswered) For customers to comeback, friendly, attentive and timely service is essential. The third in this short list was unfortunately absent. Very unfortunate!

Would this property benefit from an update, absolutely but the owner, I think, was absolutely in point. He was courteous and helpful. When he found out I was leaving at 3 in the morning, he offered to make me a snack for my drive to the airport and when I looked in the room fridge I saw that he had given me a bunch of snacks. I would definitely stay there again.

When we arrived at The New World Inn the owner met us at our car and even carried our luggage since my husband is disabled. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was not fancy but had good choices. I love oatmeal. And you could make your own waffles. I can’t wait to go back to Barre and stay again. The Inn is being refurbished one room at a time so be patient and know you will get a nice room.

This is a budget hotel, but it served its purpose. The room was a little outdated, but sufficient. The staff was very helpful, even when I needed to check in late at night, and the continental breakfast was nice.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The main structure has been newly renovated and the owner is working on the perimeter buildings. The continental breakfast was fresh and the coffee was good. I booked there for my next visit in June. Great place to stay at a reasonable price.

The property is being renovated 1 section at a time. The owner walked me to my room to be sure my handicapper issues would be resolved. They were. Bed was very comfortable and a new refry and microwave was available for use! Breakfast was adequate and the breakfast room was bright and cheerful.

This is a nice place to stay. It did smell strongly of incense throughout the building, and the ice machine was broken. The staff, i think he was the owner, was very nice and helpful and made up for any sort comings. I would recommend the place.
