“My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were……

“I'll start with the positive. Beautiful spot and very close to shops and dining. About a 50 minute drive up to the main attractions in Squoia and 30 minutes from Visilia. “The location was great but it went downhill from there. Not very clean, the bed was hard as well as the couch. The cheap blinds did not keep put the light so i ended up sleeping in tje next room on the couch soiyt was darker. Saturday morning was very noisy with trash trucks at 5 am. I paid a pretty penny to stay in a place that was just disappointing from the moment I secured the place with an invasive email from the management company wanting my ID front amd back and a picture of me... but……

“The room was cute and the pictures at booking made the room look promising. However, we realized the remodel must have happen a few years ago as there was some maintenance issues the room is in need of in the small bathroom. The air conditioner almost cooled the room as the summer heat came in thru door that wasn’t sealed all the way. Our relatives stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment and that was lovely! ”

“We had a comfortable and great stay at Sequoia Motel for the Christmas weekend with our pup! The rooms are labeled and parking is right in front of the rooms. Keypad is on the door. Everything was clean, appreciated the keurig dual pods/coffee pot and extra mugs and microwave and mini fridge/freezer. Make sure you bring water for your coffee/hot cocoa/tea needs. Bed was comfortable and we slept well after full days of adventures in Sequoia. Customer Service was pleasant through VRBO……

"This hotel is trash. We had no electric and water from 10 pm to 8am. It was very hot. When we came here, we were told that the power outage would last 30 minutes to 1 hour. It was miserable. Their internet was very hard to connect too. Ran into many problems."
