"It's congenially located on the service road in Ranger close the State Park. However, it's just a place to sleep. Dated but clean and convince parking right by your room door. AC runs beautify!"

"We’ve stayed here several times, when visiting our son at Tarlton. It is Amazing! The outside is dreamy. The covered back porch area has a Basketball goal, two picnic tables, several chairs, a grill, tons of space to hang out! There are even some tricycle type toys for the little guys! We brought own outdoor games too- the kids had a blast! Inside is like a museum! There is definitely something to look at on every. single. wall! The beds are very cozy! The linens are clean and nice. The kitchen is well equipped. It has everything we needed to cook dinners and homestyle breakfasts. The slide and loft are super fun! Plenty of space for the family! We have had 6- 7 people in our group depending on the time and we all slept comfortably. We love it so much, after our first stay we rebooked for three weeks later when we came back for another Tarlton event! And will be booking again soon for the next event! While it is about 25 minutes from the Tarlton campus, and about 20 minutes from the nearest restaurant, ( but if you drive 20 minutes, there are many local yummy spots!) it is the nicest, bigger, cheaper option we have been able to found for our big family, near Tarlton. With great spaces to hang out! The pool table was definitely a crowd fav! The host is incredibly attentive and helpful, responding quickly to any requests we had! We seriously intend to make this a reoccurring booking for our family when visiting our kiddos at college!"

"Great location for a very relaxing chill weekend. Being in Texas in August, we were surprised how comfortable being outside and in the pool was, it was great! Something about being away from the city with beautiful hills and cows around."

"Host went above and beyond! Excellent host- she thought of all the small things! Highly recommend! Breathtaking views. House had everything we needed plus more. Everything was clean, stocked, and lots of extras like fishing poles, beach towls, shampoo, condiotioner, lotion, etc... Lake is gorgeous. 10 out of 10!"
