"Very cute B&B. When we arrived it took a while to find the right door. Using Google translate on the doors, the sign said "Cage 1". We knocked and called until someone answered the door. Place looks new and clean just like the pictures. Breakfast has limited American options unfortunately which was unfortunate for kids. Dinner was delicious every night definitely worth it. Poronin is only a few miles from Zakopane but traffic was so bad it took 30 minutes every time. "

"there was a reservation for 4 people two adults two children upon arrival we were met by the managers later they saw our family and contacted the owner then they demanded an additional payment of 150 PLN from us for the fact that the children are not children And they are considered as adults although the age was indicated on the site children after that we turned around and left do not recommend this hotel to anyone because there are extra hidden charges"

Bachleda Residence Zakopane

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing modern hotel in a great quiet location. A five minute walk to the main shopping area. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were superb, very helpful and polite. Strong WiFi signal. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and the restaurant provided tasty meals. Plus I was given a takeaway lunch when I checked out. Cannot fault this hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"We stayed in a studio in the residences building. Very spacious, we were on back so quiet and shady and cool (no AC but there was a fan that was pretty good at moving the air). Small kichenette and small amount of crockery etc, there was a dishwasher too. Comfy bed, inner bathroom (no ventilation so really hot in there). Great position on quiet side of Zakopane, walked up from station in 15 mins, 8-10 mins to the main touristy street with loads of shops and bars."

"The room was clean, with a clear view of the mountains. We stayed on the third floor. We also used the pool, hot tub, and the sauna after our hike to Morskie Oko which was a short 20 min drive away. The staff was excellent and met or exceeded our needs in our 2 night stay. The breakfast was great with a variety of food, and lots of coffee and tea options. Would recommend to a friend or family to stay here."

"Great Location! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station. When you get off the train, it's a short walk straight up the hill. You will need to know this because the locals will probably not want to help you with directions. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She was accommodating and nice. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking. The lady working the spa was unfriendly, but that's to be expected from many of the locals. The rooms were nice but very dated. If you go when the weather is cooler, you will be fine, but it is good to know for the warmer months, there is no air condition in the rooms. If you sleep with the window opened, there are cars and street noise. They did bring us a fan, but when the temperature rises to the 80s... you may want a room with AC. The shower was tiny. My husband took a shower in the locker room at the pool and it had plenty of room. It's a wonderful place to stay, just be aware of the AC situation. Also, The Brooklyn Brewery next door is an excellent place to eat! The food is wonderful and you get huge portions. The staff was also friendly."
