a great stay at the bear inn a nice central location to Clarks village the staff were great very helpful we had room only at the bear inn because we had breakfast in street plenty of cafes about we will be back.

Great location and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was ok bathroom needs modernisation and attention to detail such as more loo rolls and hand soap as not enough for the duration of our stay. Would stay again if the price doesn’t increase as I think it’s high end for what you get.

I stay at the Bear for a week once a year when I’m back visiting family. Always a pleasure staying there , rooms are always spotless , parking is good and Hayley and the staff always looks after me .

LOVELY STAY IN ONE OF THE COTTAGES JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM THE PUB WAS EXPECTING SOME NOISE AS IT WAS DURING THE FOOTBALL BUT IT WAS SO PEACEFUL DIDNT HEAR ANYTHING, LARGE COMFORTABLE BED, HUGE BATHROOM WITH WALK IN SHOWER, SHORT WALK TO THE VILLAGE AND RESTAURANTS . BIG FAN HELPED WITH THE HEAT AS IT WAS AROUND 33 THAT WEEKEND WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

A little cottage a short walk from main Inn. Old fashioned building but of character. Large bathroom and bedroom. Only fault is there is a small trip hazard out of the building, it’s a tiny step but managed to catch me out twice!! Maybe needs looking at to make safer..

Lovely place to stay, room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful. The pub was great for relaxing in including a lovely pub garden. Street has lots of good places to eat, and is a also good base for visiting places like Glastonbury and Wells. And if you like shopping, you've got Clarks Village there too

We stayed two nights, in the cottage at the side of the inn. 2 rooms, one a twin for 2 teenagers. The rooms were a great size. Clean, comfortable beds and excellent tea and coffee facilities. We had breakfast both mornings and the staff were warm, friendly attentive and very welcoming. The breakfasts were great. We asked advice around public transport into Glastonbury and the staff were very helpful. We ate one evening meal that was good value too, with a varied menu. Would highly recommend.
