The morning after we arrived I could not find the ammenities passes anywhere. I reached out to Vrbo and Vacasa in an attempt to locate them. They stated that I should check all the drawers and cabinets in the entire unit. I did and was unable to locate them. They responded that the owners of the unit chose not to renew their amenities membership in May. Vrbo and Vacasa never reached out about this change. On the contrary, they sent me a document on June 8th requesting all of our (guests) names so we would have our own passes. I called Vacasa and voiced my confusion. Instead of helping mediate the issue, they stated that the unit listing never had amenities (pool, hot tub, and tennis courts) listed and that we were lying. Thankfully I had screenshots of the original listing and sent them to Vacasa. They stated they would review it and get back to me. They never did. I eventually called back and was told I would be getting compensated, but they would not tell me how much until after I checked out, or they would relocate us. Throughout this debacle, I was put on hold multiple times and these conversations lasted a long time. Let me be clear, we would not have booked this apartment if we had known we would not have access to these amenities. It was a complete bait and switch. The unit was also damaged. The blinds in the upstairs bedroom were completely torn down, which gave zero privacy since there was no bathroom door. Construction debris and beer bottles were on the patio.
